A Clash of the Underdogs

When the two bottommost teams on the standings come to play against each other, you can expect a lot of heat and zeal in the match. Although, team Pune won the match quite easily, spectators had quite a good time watching the game. Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and elected to bowl. So, Rising Pune Supergiant came on the ground to bat first. With average batting from most of it batsmen, team Supergiant managed to amass a moderate score of 161 runs on a fall of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Sreenath Aravind and Adam Milne of team RCB took 2 wickets each. When Royal Challengers came to bat, it seemed that they would easily chase the score with outstanding batsmen like Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers but none of them scored above 30 runs and that is how the team sank on a total of 134 runs. Team RCB lost its 9 wickets in 20 overs. Ben Stokes and Shardul Thakur of RSP took 3 wickets each leading their team towards a victory of 27 runs.

Royal Challengers Stumbled Again

Despite of playing on their home ground and winning the toss, team Royal Challengers failed in all the ways possible. It is such a shame to see a team packed with power players dwindle in such a manner. None of their batsmen manage to play impressive in the match. If team RCB persists to showcase such a poor form, they may lose all the chances to make it through to the playoffs.
