Mitchell McClenaghan of Mumbai Indians took 2 wickets. Mumbai Indians had to make only 143 runs which wasn’t really challenging.

And to everyone’s surprise, Smauel Badree took a hat-trick in the third over taking the important wickets of Parthiv Patel, Rohit Sharma, and Mitchell McClenaghan. It seemed that Mumbai Indians would collapse. But then there was Kieron Pollard who scored 70 runs and took his team towards victory. As a result, Mumbai Indians won the match by 4 wickets scoring 145 runs in 18.5 overs.

It could be said undoubtedly that Kieron Pollard stole the show. He showcased his real potential in the match proving that he is one hell of a batsman. On 47 balls, Pollard scored 70 runs with a strike rate of 148.94. As a result, Mumbai Indians won the match. Because of his outstanding batting skills and performance in the match, Pollard was given the player of the match title.
