So, the 2017 Wimbledon Championship is in full swing making its way to the fourth round. The grand slam championships started on the 3rd of July and has reached its midway as of now. Who made it through to the Fourth Round?

Let’s begin with the top seed of the championships Andy Murray. The defending champion struggled a bit in the third round playing against Italian player Fabio Fognini but eventually got victorious in four sets 6–2, 4–6, 6–1, 7–5. On the other hand, the king of clay Rafael Nadal beat Russian player Karen Khachanov is straight sets 6–1, 6–4, 7–6 (7–3). The second seed Novak Djokovic defeated Latvian Ernests Gulbis in sets 6–4, 6–1, 7–6 (7–2). Whereas, Roger Federer, the third seed beat German player Mischa Zverev 7–6 (7–3), 6–4, 6–4. In the ladies singles, Polish player Caroline Wozniacki defeated Anett Kontaveit, the Estonian player in sets 3–6, 7–6(7–3), 6–2. While, top seed Angelique Kerber of Germany beat Shelby Roger of the USA in sets 4–6, 7–6(7–2), 6–4. And last but not the least, second seed Simona Halep of Romania defeated Chinese player Peng Shuai in sets 6–4, 7–6 (9–7).

What to Expect from the Fourth Round?

In the fourth round, second seed Novak Djokovic will be seen playing against Adrian Mannarino on the 16th of July. On the other hand, Roger Federer will be battling Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov in the next level.
